About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a mixed portfolio of residential blocks and commercial units
• Act as the main liaison between landlords, leaseholders, tenants, brokers, and
contractors
• Oversee long-term rental agreements with local councils and housing providers
• Organise maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, compliance checks, and major works
• Prepare and manage service charge budgets
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold property standards
• Handle Section 20 notices and leasehold matters
• Identify and win new block management opportunities
• Support with onboarding new instructions and clients
• Manage insurance, budgets, and cost efficiencies
• Provide property performance insights to senior management
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in block management (residential essential; commercial advantageous) • Strong knowledge of leasehold law, service charges, and compliance • Experience liaising with local councils and housing brokers • Confident managing maintenance and contractors • IRPM qualification (or studying toward it) desirable • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills • Commercially minded, proactive, and growth-oriented • Able to work independently and manage your own portfolio effectively • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle • Ambitious, motivated, and seeking a long-term career path with real progression
